New RTE dating show ‘Love in Isolation’ arriving this June
By Brian Dillon. A brand new dating show coming to RTE will help single people find love in isolation, and we’re so here for that. Listen, us singletons have it hard in isolation! And that’s why we need something like this to help us! Love In Isolation will arrive on the RTE player in June and sees 12 single people who are quarantining alone find love and romance through the internet.
And there is a fun twist.
RTÉ has launched a brand new dating series Love in Isolation, which will start on RTÉ Player next month. Since lockdown and social.
The first man and woman to print off the correct answer get to go on a glamorous city break. Afterwards, they would chat online to people in the city they were visiting and select one of them to go on a blind date with. It was high-concept stuff and, crucially, very early noughties. The show matches daters online to find out if opposites do attract or is it really a survival of the fittest. They jumped at the chance to find love online, dress up, have a drink and even light a candle or two.
He was tall and athletic, driven, he had traveled and was really outgoing and good fun. Kildare dater Alan Young, 24, from Kildare said it was refreshing not having to swipe left or right on a dating app. I know this is a difficult time for a lot of people, and hopefully a bit of light-hearted fun like this will put an infectious smile on your face.
